Privacy Notice
This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) to people who visit sigunarge.com, leave a request through the site’s chat assistant, or contact us by e-mail or phone. The Turkish version (KVKK Aydınlatma Metni) prevails in case of any discrepancy.

The site does not collect special categories of personal data (health, biometric, religious data etc.); please do not include such data in your messages. We do not send commercial electronic messages (campaigns, newsletters) without your prior consent.
3. How we collect data
We collect personal data directly from you when you fill in the chat assistant’s request form, e-mail or call us, and while you visit the site through server logs and the cookie consent tool, by partly or fully automated electronic means.
4. Recipients and transfers
Limited to the purposes above and in line with KVKK Articles 8 and 9, your data may be shared with:
- Our hosting and e-mail service provider (web server and corporate e-mail infrastructure), where the data is stored and transmitted.
- Competent public authorities and courts, only where required by law.
- Our legal, accounting and similar advisers, to the extent needed to establish, exercise or defend a right.
International transfers: the servers of our hosting and e-mail provider may be located outside Türkiye. Such transfers are made with one of the appropriate safeguards under KVKK Article 9 (e.g. the standard contractual clauses announced by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board) and, for data from the European Economic Area, with appropriate safeguards under GDPR Article 46.
5. Retention
- Request and contact data: up to 2 years after your request is concluded; if a contract is formed, for the periods required by law (e.g. 10 years for commercial books and records).
- Anti-abuse rate-limit record: kept only as an irreversible hash of the IP address and becomes void after 60 seconds.
- Server access logs: for the period required by Turkish Law No. 5651 and related legislation.
- Cookie preference: up to 12 months in your browser.
When the period expires or the purpose no longer applies, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request erasure or destruction under KVKK Article 7; request that third parties be notified of such correction or erasure; object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Under the GDPR you also have the rights to data portability, to restriction of processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. How to exercise your rights
Send your request, with information that allows us to identify you, in writing to our address above, or from the e-mail address you previously shared with us to iletisim@sigunarge.com, or signed with a secure electronic or mobile signature. We will respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the request involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Board may apply.
8. Changes
We update this notice when needed. The current version is always published on this page with the date at the top updated.
